CBW Objectives

The Cyprus Business Women Group was co-founded in February 2009 by Janice Ruffle and Margaret Efstathiou. Since the launch in Paphos a rapid expansion has developed with regional groups launching in Larnaca and Limassol. Shortly a regional Group in Nicosia will be formed.

Cyprus Business Women can come together and gather useful information, business advice and resources. The network hopes to attract women from all areas of business to include all professions.

Encouraging and enabling women in business is significant to the health of the economy in Cyprus, the vibrancy of our business culture and for the pride and self-esteem of women. Many women encounter more and often different barriers compared to men when starting an enterprise and growing their business.

There are many business women in Cyprus who will benefit from networking with other women in business not only here in Cyprus but also in other countries, which is a prime objective of the Group.
